What is Computer System ?? 

Computer system is a complete, working together computer which includes operating system and hardware in order to make the computer function. 

Data and Information 

• Data is a collection of unprocessed items ( text, numbers, images, audio and video ) 
• Information conveys meaning and useful to people 

  
Information Processing Cycle (IPOS)

• Input       -   Any data and instruction entered into memory of computer

• Output    -   Data that has been processed into useful form  

• Process   -   Transform an input data flow into an output data flow

• Storage   -   Hold data, instructions and information for future use 

  

Information Processing Cycle (IPOS) 

1. Information processing cycle is the series of input, process, output and storage activities.
2. Computer process data (input) into information (output).
3. Computer hold data, instructions and informations in storage for future use.
